i've recently started to do abs at the beginning of my weight workout. it ensures that i don't 'run out of time' for them, and i can work them harder than if they were done at the end. i've liked the results thus far.

Hulbs good tip! the amount of times i've done hard cardio and then talked myself out of doing abs due to "running out of time" (i.e. being too stuffed!) is too many to remember. i might try doing them 1st up as well.

Ron Yeah. I'll admit, my diet can be lacking at times. Especially lately. Having difficulty getting it back on track, especially since I started working at an Italian restaurant & get a free meal every night that I work. I usually try to get the "heart smart" baked cod & a salad (though I'm not sure the oil that they put on it is good oil...plus they put sausage on it). However, last night I had a rather large meal...salad, spaghettio al olio (spaghetti w/garlic & oil...again, not sure if it's a good oil & it was NOT whole wheat pasta) & chicken marsala. Tasty, yes. Good for me? I'm quite sure it's not.

Plus there's been a lot of candy lately, what with Easter and all. I'm a slacker! Gotta get back on track.

DonnieV i've always thought of myself as 'big boned', and not capable of having a six pack. this is the first time i've had visable ab muscles in my life. they look even more defined now than when that pic was taken in jan. you HAVE to drop the fat, by adding muscle, doing cardio, and being diligent about diet. you can work on your abs all day long, but you won't see them if you don't do those 3.

Ron Personally, my stomach is my biggest (no pun intended) enemy. For once in my life, I want that six-pick by summer, dammit!

Ron Looks like whatever you're doing is working quite well!
