Strength Training
"Super-setting with antagonistic muscles allows neurological system to recuperate better, in other words, you will be more rested for your next set. So if you’re doing bench, doing a set of chin-ups in between, will allow for less of a drop in strength for your next set."

Troubles putting on muscle mass?
Troubles putting on muscle mass?
General/Other
"I have been struggling for a while to put on lean body weight and finally found something that helped! I recently started taking BCAA's and have put on 5 pounds in 2 weeks. I researched into this supplement quite a bit and this was what was said about them:
Recommended use:0.25-0.44g per Kg (or 0.2g per Lb) of body weight half before workout, half after, or if workout is long and very intense 1/3 before, 1/3 mid workout, and 1/3 post
-it helps regulate protein synthesis
-if taken during training, it raises both growth hormone and insulin levels (making your body anabolic)
-the body uses BCAA's as an energy source
-claims to prevent decrease in post workout testosterone levels and actually raise them after your workout
-reduces protein degredation during workout
-I also have tried taking them at halftime in football games and have found they keep my head clear and I stay more aware

This is a summary of the information I have found on BCAA's to help save some time for those looking into them. I have been really impressed with the benefits and recommend them to anyone struggling to put on some extra muscle!"

Diet and Nutrition
"Having trouble finding time to cook? Try buying a slow cooker! I have had one for a couple years and just discovered how useful it can actually be. You can cook stews or soups in it and even protein. Try putting what ever meat you like in along with some vegetable (onions, carrots etc.) and some spices. All you have to do is turn it on and go on with your day. When you get back, you will have a healthy and tasty meal, warm and ready to serve."
