runningbear I do that. My little girl always wants grilled cheese for lunch, but she leaves half of it. I put it in a zip loc so she can have it the next day for lunch. I'm not saying I NEVER nibble her food, but I really try to be conscious of what I'm eating. I think those who eat the kids' leftovers usually do so unconsciously.

wilsonk92 Yeah this is a great tip. So many parents eat their kids snacks. I knew a mom that never made anything for herself ... she lived off her kids leftovers!

OzzieOcean That is probably the best tip I have read here yet. It os so true. At our house treats are of the healthy variety, but when we go to friends and family, I see the adults eating the kids snacks all the time.
