Awesome post. I often go to the gym for only 25 - 30 minutes for a light cardio workout when I am tired or crazy busy. I figure it is better than nothing at all!

Take the stairs, walk aroud the block after Dinner, always consider the "long " way not the short cut, a couple of sets of push-ups before going to bed may help you sleep and walk to the store if its within a couple of miles or so.

i like to do core exercises for the transvere muscle throughout the day - whenever i can fit a few in - best times are in the shower and everytime I wash my hands, brush my teeth etc

I always choose a far away parking spot. While others drive around the lot wasting gas and time, I'm parked and walking toward my destination. If I'm at the mall and plan to shop stores that are not part of the main mall area, I still leave my car where it is and walk to my destination. Besides saving gas and giving me a little exercise, I've also discovered it's quicker to exit when I want to leave.
