buffgirl Yeah...water will flush out lactic acid. And it's not only for weight lifting. Massage therapists recommend it after intense deep tissue sessions for the same reason - they are breaking down muscle fibers.

buffgirl I usually just drink a lot of water post-workout to flush out the lactic acid. Never thought of using lighter weights. Good idea.
