n8ball As you probably know, I sell Juice Plus+, 17 fruits and vegetables in capsule form, sometimes I sound like an advertisement and not a real person, lol. But, I have noticed that when people get on Juice Plus+, their eating habits actually change because their body starts craving good food! I work with a guy who eats 3 meals a day fast food, and he decided he needed to try juice plus, i have noticed his eating habits changing and I do not even pester him about it! He has lost 10 lbs or so, and it's just because his body doesn't crave grease and processed foods as much any more, it's amazing to watch! It killed two birds with one stone, it gave him a stop gap that was better than vitamins, AND it has started to change his eating habits, woot!

wilsonk92 Totally agree with you ... both of you actually. However, look at how people eat. It is very rare to see someone that actually does eat well these days. Trying to change someones way of eating is like trying to pull teeth ... especially if they are not open to the idea of change. For this reason I do recommend these people take a good multi vitamin in addition to working on changing their bad eating habits. We have to remember that the average person is 'allergic' to fruits and vegetables (so they tell me lol) and lives on fast food and other junk. But yes, I do totally agree that there is absolutely no substitute to eating real food! Thanks for the comments :-)

n8ball I'm not a fan of vitamins at all, an apple has over 10,000 nutrients that work in a synery. Removing a few and putting them into a pill seems far from what nature intended. I know there are a lot of great "whole food" supplements out there, where they cram lots of fruits and veggies into a capsule, I feel those are the best way to supplement our active lifestyles. Just my 2c... :)

runningbear The jury is still out on the benefits of supplements. There really is no substitute for healthy eating.
